I am the At-Home-Mom of Nick (20) and Katie (16), and have been happily married to their father Rob for 21 years. I have been homeschooling Katie for a little over a year. I graduated from ISU with a degree in life science. I am nanny to one of my favorite "almost-toddlers" ever! I am also the owner of Once Upon a Time Custom Sewing, and a creative coach with Stampin' Up.
Why am I blogging?
I've not really been much for spending a lot of time online (although I have gotten sucked in by Pinterest! LOL!), but I have been doing a lot of things in my life lately to simplify and just find ways to enjoy life more. My thought is, we're here such a short time, we should live life to its fullest! To me, that's not adding more activities and frantic busy-ness, but by slowing down and appreciating the simple joys. I want to not only share some of the things I've learned, but see what you have tried and found successful. Please feel free to share!
